/channel set sprints

Set a designated channel for reading sprint event announcements. Use this command to choose where Elysium Bot will post all sprint-related messages, so participants know exactly where to find sprint updates, reminders, and results.

💬 Usage

/channel set sprints <channel mention>

• <channel mention> – The channel where you want sprint event announcements to appear (must mention/tag the channel)

📌 Example

/channel set sprints #reading-sprints

This will:

• Assign the #reading-sprints channel as the official location for all reading sprint announcements

• Ensure all future sprint notifications and results are posted in the selected channel

🗃️ Notes

• Only users with appropriate permissions (such as Manage Channels) can use this command

• You can update the sprint channel assignment at any time by running this command again with a new channel

• To remove the assignment and go back to default, use /channel reset sprints

• Having a dedicated sprint channel keeps reading events organized and easy to follow
